Continuing its free summer concert traditions at Sigulda Castle, the "Baltais Flīģelis" (White Grand Piano) Concert hall will once again organize its popular Musical breakfast concerts on Sunday mornings in July. This is an excellent opportunity to have a carefree breakfast with friends and family, while at the same time enjoying special chamber music concerts. Guests can bring along a picnic basket, and it will also be possible to purchase wine and breakfast on the spot.

LP or Laura Pergolizzi will return to picturesque Sigulda castle on July 2nd.

“I hope this will be a special evening, with a special mood. The idea of this concert has been “galloped” for a long time, and finally this vision is transforming into reality,” author of the upcoming anniversary concert. Together with the announcement of the concert, Ozols in collaboration with Andreju Skurjatu (Dree), has produced a video for the song “Never”, which is included in the album “Neon City”, entitled “Best hip-hop album.”

On July 11-14 European BMX Championship will be held at the newly established track in Valmiera which is hometown of two time Olympic champion Maris Strombergs. From 19th – 21st July city of Cēsis will celebrate its tradition city festival “Cēsis 813”. This year the programme is very diverse, and the moto of the event is “Celebrate summer!”

On the last weekend of July, the International Sigulda Opera festival will once again take place in the picturesque territory of the Sigulda Castle ruins and the Sigulda New castle, where, as usual, music lovers will be able to enjoy performances from both Latvian and internationally acclaimed opera stars.

I will be celebrating my 736th birthday on the 26th, 27th and 28th of July. There will be a festive march, open-air party, cheerful un sportive activities, fair, various workshops. We’ll be watching movies and listening to music. There will be performances by the bands “Pērkons”, “DaGamba”, “Līvi”, “The Sound Poets”, Inokentijs Mārpls and many others. We’ll be adorning ourselves with gorgeous crowns. I will tell interesting stories about myself and of course I’ll be providing all sorts of treats.
