Every spring, Valmiera celebrates Arts Days, and, in 2019 the chosen theme is "Steps". During the month of art, the city revives in an unusual form and provides an opportunity to attend a number of events – exhibitions, concerts and multimedia events. The city hosts special theatrical or contemporary dance performances, the forum "Art to be an entrepreneur", new art benches are discovered and guidance is sought in "Art's Points".
