During Sigulda Town festival many fun and active events will be held - traditional festive procession, amateur performances, concerts and attractions for children. Holiday culmination will be a special concert and open-air party. A special restaurant for children will be set-up during the Sigulda Town Festival, which will pay special attention to meals for the little ones. Chefs from the Riga-Gauja region will be on hand to serve dishes for the whole family. In addition to the food tastings, an extensive cultural program for families will take place, featuring entertaining musical performances, as well as many other activities.

Every year, on the shortest night – 21 June, the Turaida Museum reserve celebrates the summer solstice feast. From 19.00 till sunrise every visitor is welcome to experience the solstice night feast, following the old traditions, participating in events and enjoying the magic of nature, the sun and the magic of midsummer songs. That is the summer solstice when all living creature receive the forces of nature and thrive on an unusual glory. Folklore groups show how to make wreaths, adorn fencing and make cheese for enjoying the sun and observing the fire rituals. People play in historical games and dance the ancient dances until sunrise.

Continuing its free summer concert traditions at Sigulda Castle, the "Baltais Flīģelis" (White Grand Piano) Concert hall will once again organize its popular Musical breakfast concerts on Sunday mornings in July. This is an excellent opportunity to have a carefree breakfast with friends and family, while at the same time enjoying special chamber music concerts. Guests can bring along a picnic basket, and it will also be possible to purchase wine and breakfast on the spot.
