This year, restaurants in Līgatne, Amata, Pārgauja and Cēsis will participate in the Restaurant Week. Nine popular and well-known restaurants in Cēsis and the region will invite gourmets to have unforgettable meal. The taste of autumn is unrepeatable and unique. The sweet aroma of apples and cranberries wafts through the air, mixing with the colorful autumn leaves and the smell of the earth. Restaurant week will be attended by the restaurant of the hotel "Villa Santa", the restaurant "Jāņoga", the restaurant of the hotel "Jonathan SPA Estate", the restaurant "Ungurmuiža" and H.E.Vanadziņš. Ziemeļu restorāns, Pavāru māja in Līgatne, Anna Design hotel & SPA restaurant "Kannas" in Zaube, cafe "Zeit" and "Restorāns 1815".
The chef of H.E.Vanadziņš. Ziemeļu restorāns will bring grilled young cattle, duck breast and catfish fillet to the table with various seasonal side dishes. The restaurant will also highlight other autumn products on its menu - pumpkin, beets, grapes, carrots and Jerusalem artichokes, as well as portabello mushrooms.
Anna Design hotel & SPA restaurant "Kannas" will surprise gourmets with slow-cooked veal cheeks, parsnip and chicory cream, red wine sauce and sherry-glazed beets. Buckwheat and chocolate cake will be a great end to the meal.
The diligent cooks of the the restaurant "Ungurmuiža" will create the taste of autumn by bringing slow-braised pork meat with seasonal vegetables and an arrangement of autumn delicacies to the table. Sweet pumpkin roll with sea buckthorn jelly, fresh cheese and berry sauce will be served for dessert.
Guests will enjoy a three-course meal - A special offer worth 30.00 EUR will be available in each of the restaurants. Unique gastronomic pleasure will highlight the rich taste of autumn, which is given by high-quality and delicious seasonal products.
