On January 7, the VALMIERMUIŽAS ALUS VIESISTABAS invites you to a master class "Searching for the Roots of Beer", where we will enjoy fascinating stories of the history of beer, taste full-bodied brews along with carefully selected snacks from the Valmiermuiža beer kitchen.
The master class will be led by certified beer sommelier Atis Everss, who has accumulated a wealth of work experience while working at the Valmiermuiža brewery, studying and gaining knowledge in the diverse world of beer. Atis refined his knowledge in Germany and passed the exams to become a certified beer sommelier. Now he is ready to share his experience and knowledge with you.
In the master class, Atis will take you through the twists and turns of beer history, introducing you to the variety of beer flavors and styles, the origins of beer and its importance in Latvian culture. Atis will give beer connoisseurs the opportunity to explore flavors through different senses, allowing them to understand how specific aromas, colors and flavor combinations are formed. In order to not only hear the history, but also taste it, the master class will provide five beer flavors with matching snacks.
