Winter Recreation Centre "Žagarkalns"

“Žagarkalns” offers ten tracks of different difficulty connected to each other - you will find not only long and smooth slopes ideal for the beginners, but also dynamic tracks with steeper sections and sharp turns. For experienced enthusiasts there is a snowboarding and freestyling park. “Žagarkalns” operates the largest Latvian professional ski school, and the ski resort is ideally suitable for children, beginners and families. On the children’s slope there is a ‘magic carpet-style’ ski lift - safe and comfortable for kids. For children and non-skiers, a fun attraction of snowtubing is available. On the top of the hill there is cosy café with the panoramic view and good menu, as well as ski rental and inventory maintenance point.
