“Turbo Zērglis” is the world’s first—and currently the only—attraction of its kind, where a zipline ride takes place along an aerial cable car track. It is a unique, patented concept created in Latvia, with no equivalent anywhere else in the world.
“Turbo Zērglis,” equipped with aviation turbines, allows you to enjoy the beauty of the ancient Gauja Valley while flying at speeds of up to 100 km/h, covering distances of up to 1,000 meters in one direction. If Turbo Zērglis feels too fast or extreme, you can always switch off the turbines and enjoy a calmer flight with the classic Zērglis at 50 km/h. This option is ideal if you prefer a slower, more relaxed experience, want to fully take in the natural scenery, fly in a seated position, or even fly with a small child on your lap.
Zērglis and all its associated systems have been developed with a sevenfold safety margin, ensuring the highest level of reliability. It was created in Sigulda in 2016 and has been available to the public since 2017, with more than 50,000 people experiencing it so far. Since 2024, visitors can also enjoy Turbo Zērglis, an upgraded version of the classic Zērglis technology. Safety is our top priority, which is why the Turbo Zērglis concept was carefully developed and tested over four years, including more than 500 test flights before serving the first customers.
