"Ancient Wisdom: Crafting Natural Threads for Fabric and Beauty"

During the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD), a workshop will be held where craftsman Ritvars Tocs will share his expertise on extracting natural fibers from nettles and various trees, such as linden, oak, and apple. He will demonstrate how to spin these fibers into threads and use them to create bracelets, crowns, mittens, hats, and fabric. These handmade products are not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing and beneficial for the body.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the creation process, as well as observe demonstrations and listen to the craftsman’s stories.
