Winter Solstice Celebration and Market GARDU MUTI in Valmiermuiža
The winter solstice has long been a very important holiday for Latvians, celebrating the victory of light over darkness.
During the celebration, the owners have set rich festive tables, where there was no shortage of pork knuckle, peas, pies, or beer. Home producers from near and far will come to Valmiermuiža, who will offer those gathered expensive rural goods for the festive table. Craftsmen's creations will make good gifts for themselves and their loved ones. The most enthusiastic will be able to guess what the next year will be like and what to expect from it, while the little ones will have the opportunity to go horseback riding with the Valmiermuiža stable family. The celebrations will be attended by cheerful musicians and kekatniki from the dance folklore group "Dandari"!
Traders' registration here.
After the market on December 21 at 6:00 PM, we will learn about the winter solstice at an evening of dancing and singing in the Valmiermuiža beer living room together with the folklore group "Dandari"! Ticket: 10 EUR (Bezrindas.lv). Children under 6 years old have free admission.
