Visit Valmiera - the pearl of northern Latvia - on a virtual tour!

The pearl of northern Latvia - Valmiera - will give you inspiration to travel in a virtual tour! The start of the virtual tour is planned for Sunday, February 28th, 10AM, in Enter Gauja National Park and Visit Valmiera Facebook pages.

The largest of the cities of northern Latvia, the glorious pearl Valmiera with centuries-old history, a modern and green urban environment, which, like an ornament, is crossed by the longest river in Latvia - Gauja! With this guiding principle, two people from Valmiera and historians will take you on a virtual tour, revealing the “pearls” of Valmiera - both interesting facts and little-known stories about the city. Every spectator will be able to return to the memories of sunny summer days and find ideas for the next trip to the north gate of the Gauja National Park - Valmiera.

The virtual tour will last approximately 40 minutes and will be conducted in English. Recordings of the tour will also be available to watch afterwards on “Visit Valmiera” and “Enter Gauja National Park” Facebook pages and Youtube channels.
