Valmiera Marathon

On the second Sunday of September, Valmiera Marathon takes place annually in Valmiera, bringing together the old and the young fans of active lifestyle and sporting people from different places in Latvia and abroad. When applying for the Valmiera Marathon it is possible to choose the most suitable distance - the 6.2 km race, the 10.55 km race, the half-marathon - 21.0975 km and the Nordic skiing - 7.5 km, while the most durable ones can compete in the marathon - 42,195 km.
