The Rose of Turaida day celebration

According to a Legend about the beautiful Maija - The Rose of Turaida Castle, Maija, during her short life, was set to a love affair, that made her choose between love and death, trust and freedom. Every year there is a gathering to remember this Legend and value the believes that don't change over decades. 

 

At the event you will hear the legent about the Rose of Turaida, and hear a romantic music performance "IN LOVE" by opera singer Guntars Rungis and musician Janis Rungis.
