Athletes will compete in 26 Olympic disciplines, out of which badminton, basketball, boxing, football, handball, road race, powerlifting, athletics, volleyball, beach volleyball, rowing slalom, triathlon and the non-Olympic discipline – orienteering will be held in Valmiera. Furthermore Valmiera will host the opening and closing ceremony of the Olympiad.
