Bīriņu Castle Hotel

While visiting the romantic Bīriņu castle, you can enjoy walking in parks full of natural greenery, swing down the wind on large swings and throw bells onto branches of the old Love Oak, asking it for blessing.

Guests of the castle can spend the night in one of the sophisticated castle rooms with high ceilings and abundant furnishings, or in the cozy Gardener's House next to the Bīriņu castle building. The Rose room in the Gardener's House is especially popular – it opens the view of a stork nest, which adorns the exquisite castle tower.

Looking out the windows of the castle you can see magnificent views. Far afield there are paths of an old castle park, as well as a broad lake, which is adorned with white water lilies during warm season.

In winter the lake is covered with ice and flaky snow, where you will find traces of horse-drawn sleigh runners and a new-built snowman.
