Magical fire sculpture and butoh dance, sustainable and engaging workshops, cuisine from different nations, peaceful and restless chill spots, cinema, circus, art and horse riding - the festival promises a range of diverse experiences and a great atmosphere for the whole family! The theme of the 2024 festival is “oscillations”, which can be light and movement-enhancing - sounds and lights - but can also be profound and disruptive, bringing new changes to society, the environment and people themselves.
The Valmiermuiža Ethnomusic Festival is organised by the Valmiermuiža Association of Culture and the Culture Management Centre “Lauska”. Supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation, Valmiera County Municipality, Valmiermuiža Craft Brewery and others.
