Gauja National Park Tourism Association to Represent Latvia at Major International Travel Fairs in 2025–2026

Gauja National Park Tourism Association is set to participate in several leading international travel and tourism exhibitions over the coming months to promote the Gauja National Park region as a top sustainable travel destination and to strengthen cooperation with global partners.
Every year, the Gauja National Park Tourism Association actively participates in Europe’s leading travel and tourism exhibitions. These events are proven and highly valued meeting points for tourism professionals from around the world — providing the perfect platform to strengthen cooperation, share expertise, and promote the Gauja National Park region internationally.
Participation in these fairs also offers the best opportunity to meet directly with travelers and introduce them to the diverse and sustainable tourism experiences that the Gauja National Park has to offer — from nature adventures and cultural heritage to local cuisine and wellness experiences.
Through consistent participation, the association continues to raise awareness of the Gauja National Park as a premier travel destination and fosters lasting partnerships within the global tourism community.

From 4–6 November 2025, the association will take part in WTM London, one of the world’s most influential travel industry events. The focus will be on meeting tour operators and learning about the latest trends in destination marketing, sustainable tourism, and travel innovation. Stand N7-409. Numbers: 43000 attendees on 2025.

On 7–8 January 2026, the team will participate in the Vakantiebeurs Travel Trade Days in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to meet tour operators and establish new partnerships. Stand: 09.B100. Numbers: Travel Trade day participants 8150, most of them tour operators, travel agencies, tourism advisors, tourism agencies. Vakantiebeur visitors days's numbers: 71122 visitors, 1052 exhibitors from more that 100 countries.

From 15–18 January 2026, the Gauja National Park Tourism Association will join be present in MATKA professional day and public days in Helsinki, Finland, engaging with tour operators, media representatives, and individual travelers to present the newest tourism products, experiences, and sustainable travel opportunities in the Gauja National Park region. Numbers: 56000 visitors; over 850 exhibitors; 49% of consumers and 46% of professionals made travel-related purchase decisions or actions based on the fair.

From 21–25 January 2026, the association will represent the destination at FITUR Madrid in Spain, meeting with tour operators and media representatives to foster new collaborations and showcasing the Gauja National Park as a must-visit nature and cultural destination for international travelers. From 3 - 5 March 2026, Gauja National Park Tourism Association will work in ITB Berlin 2026, engaging with tour operators, media representatives, digital tourism solutions. On year 2026 ITB Berlin will take place for the 60th year! Numbers of ITB Berlin 2025: 100,000 trade visitors, 5,800 exhibitors from over 170 countries.
These international exhibitions will provide valuable opportunities to promote the Gauja National Park region, highlight its diverse tourism offerings, and exchange best practices in sustainable tourism development.
