On 5 September 2006, the Zaube Wild Food Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary. This year, under the theme “Source of Strength”, the festival will once again bring together nature and culinary professionals and enthusiasts at Zaube Manor Park, by Lake Lejas and Lake Augšezers.

When the fields have been harvested, cellars filled with preserves for winter, and everything grown and gathered during the summer is ready to be brought to the table, it is time to celebrate the harvest. On 19 September from 11:00 to 15:00, Valmiermuiža will host its Miķeļdiena Harvest Festival and Market, bringing together local producers, artisans and autumn enthusiasts from near and far.
