Jāņi Day in Turaida

The celebration begins in the early morning and continues throughout the day with traditional activities inspired by Latvian folk customs and seasonal rituals. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, experience authentic Summer Solstice traditions and enjoy a festive atmosphere surrounded by the landscapes and heritage of Turaida.

A special highlight of the event will be a concert by the folklore group Iļģi, whose music and interpretation of Latvian folk traditions have become an important part of contemporary cultural life in Latvia.
