Guided hike Lorupe, Rāmkalni, Ziedoņa Museum
On the morning of August 6, we will start an exploratory walk, during which families with children will experience the surroundings of Murjani.
This Sunday, a hike of approximately 4 km along the picturesque bank of the Loja river is planned.
Along the way, the trek leader will educate the children with exciting information about animals and nature.
Following in the footsteps of the dog Funi, we will arrive at the Ziedonis Museum, where children will be able to get to know the dog Funi himself and the treasures hidden in the museum.
Adults are invited to experience the program "Museum Road Notes", where they get to know the personality and works of Imantas Ziedonis in an interesting and creative way.
In the garden of the museum, it is also planned to take a breather and eat the snacks you have taken with you.
How long: about 3 hours, but by mutual agreement, the route can be both extended and shortened.

It should be noted that children take part in the hike together with their parents. We recommend it for children from 6 to 11 years old.

We inform you that the number of places is limited. At least 8 applications are required for the event to take place.
Meeting place: August 6 in "Rāmkalnos" at the sign "Boat, bike rental" at 10.45 (walk starts at 11.00).
Please note: comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are required for the hike. We warn you that you will have to wade across the Loja River to get to the museum.
