“Created S! in bed” market

December weekends, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 22, and 23 December, from noon at 10:00 to 16:00, the Sigulda Palace quarter will host a “created S! in bed” market where visitors will be able to arrange various gifts for those close to them by offering Spiid Botanics decorative lamps, Pullene apiaries and Greenvalley honey (you can take part in the “decorate your honey jar” master class, apply via T. +371 25390680), as well as produce created by the social enterprise Everybody can. On Saturday 23 December, nutritionist Dace May will tell of a healthy diet as well as the opportunity to buy a variety of products to boost health. In collaboration with “beautiful garden Workshop,” there will be an opportunity to buy your own special Christmas tree, as well as learn how to keep the tree for transplantation in the garden.

Pony riding

December 3 and 17 from noon 13.00 to 16.00 Sigulda Palace School from Inčukalns will visit the Sigulda Palace School, bringing ponies with it, providing rides for children. Visitors to the castle block have been invited to take carrots with whom to patient ponies.
Pony riding for payment:

• family with 1 child EUR 5.00 per ride,
• family with 2 children – EUR 4.00 per ride for 1 child,
• family with 3 and more children – 3.00 EUR per child

Fairytale Castle

Families with children are invited to take part in “fairytale Palace” afternoons with book readings at Sigulda's New Palace, where children will have the opportunity to experience exciting tales, stories and games. This event is specifically for children, allowing you to immerse yourself in the realm of fairy tales and enjoy the magic of reading in front of books. Fairy-tale palace afternoons will take place in 3., 9., 10., 16., 17. December at Sigulda New Palaceplkst. 16.00 and a recognisable councillor will attend each book afternoon with readings. Entry to the event is free.

Creative workshops and master classes

This year's call for councillors to make unique gifts in workshops and masterclasses in cooperation with creative entrepreneurs and masters of the Sigulda Palace quarter, which will run in the Palace quarter from November 29. It's an opportunity for your loved ones to present unrepeatable, hand-made gifts that you'll be able to make with the creative entrepreneurs, artists and craftsmen of the Palace quarter. A total of 10 master classes will be available over the festive period.

Red Manor Building

La Fête Picnic offers wreath-making masterclasses. There will be a special festive atmosphere, creative work with plant materials, as well as what is expected to be shinier. Let's discuss what advent is and what it represents. You'll be able to enjoy warm drinks, snacks and go home with a self-made advent wreath. Photos will also be available after the event, in memory.

The Cloudberry brand will offer Scrapbook, a master class in memory album-making, over the festive period. As part of it, everyone will be able to get suggestions on how to effectively create their own memory album, what apps and accessories to use to efficiently sort out the pictures in the digital environment, and how to get to a tasteful and enjoyable result. There will be an option to choose a Scrapbook set on a theme you prefer - an album for love/album for travel/album for festivities/album for children or an album for a baby/son. There will be snacks, enjoy a delicious drink and create a warm, free atmosphere.

A masterclass of textile painting will take place in the Dpienalote studio, during which it will be possible to learn the basics of textile painting and implement its creative idea on the garment or fabric taken with it. Everything you need will be available on the spot, you only need to take your clothes with you that you want to paint (T-shirt, cotton jumper, cloth bag, denim jacket, etc.)

Photographer Santa offshoot invites you to experience a Christmas photo session in a heartfelt and fun atmosphere. Three photo areas, in beautiful festive design. In a ceramics workshop, you'll be able to get to know the process of turning clay into a luxury vase, mug, plate or other ceramic product. Art lovers will be delighted with the already finished production, which can also be purchased. Masterclasses are available to both groups and individual visitors. The workshop is designed so that visitors can both watch the masters in action and engage themselves. You can create your own clay whistle-blower, or whistle-blowing bird, try skills with the lace, create your own mug, dish or other kind of souvenir.

The cane workshop will be able to decorate a pre-arranged cane to decorate the tree. The workshop will also be able to buy a variety of crafted timber products on which you can light a bequest or words of choice.
