Summer season opening event “Bicycle and Cinema festival”

In 2016 for the first time the „Bicycle and Cinema Festival” in Valmiera and Kocēni, Beverīna and Burtnieki counties will be held. This educational and rich with physical activities and cinema-arts festival will also mark the beginning of the summer tourism season.

During which cycling will be the main leitmotiv of the cinema-arts. During the Festival everyone is invited to enjoy Latvian and international movies, as well to participate in various activities, such as the „Cinema pedal”, feast their eyes with the picturesque landscape of Valmiera and its surroundings and truly enjoy cycling.
